Imagine for a moment that you return home from a fantasy job one day and like many other days, you are asked a very typical, benign question. “How did your day go?”. Rather than say, “the usual” or “same old, same old”, you find yourself saying something far more fresh, intense and dramatic. Let’s imagine that, in earnest, your description of that fantasy day was something more unusual. Perhaps you hear yourself saying, “This was, by far, the very best day I have every experienced at work, in fact, I almost didn’t want to leave!”
Let’s also imagine that at the end of that fantasy day you felt more fulfilled, challenged and influential than you ever have before. People around you were blown away. Time seemed to fly by. When you finally did get in your car, you had an incredibly satisfying “tired” feeling and a deep sense of accomplishment and joy.
Here are some vitally important questions to answer as you mentally review that incredible day at your fantasy job.

Where were you?
What were you doing and saying?
Who was with you?
How did they react?
Were you working for yourself or for someone else?

The way you answer these questions often reveals what it is that you, not only long to do in life, but what you are called to do in life as a vocation or in addition to your present career. There are specific things that you can do, specific services that you can provide that will change your life and the lives of others in large and in small ways. To neglect those things is to ignore a special part of your make up as a person. You have gifts, talents, knowledge and a unique personal story to share with others that may yet to be discovered. There is something unique about you as a person that others need to experience.

Lifepoints will help you discover your uniquely pre-prepared mission in life and help you fulfill it. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Eph. 2:10)
